Cosplay is one of the fast growing portrait photography today.  Pop-culture fans love their characters like Spiderman, Harry Potter, or Game Of Thrones and more.  From custom outfits, to special hair & makeup, and homemade props, cosplayers love to recreate scenes in front of the photographer.

Organized Shoots

There are plenty of events large and small to help cater to cosplayers.  These images were captured at the Hair of the Dragon event at a local studio.  There are also large conventions that cater to cosplayers including ComicCon and Atlantas very own Dragoncon which I have been a member of their photo team for several years.
