Ferrari designs are incredible.  Shooting auto racing takes patience and thought. Photographers will need to control Shutter speed first and Aperture/ISO second. Techniques like planning, controlled blur and positioning shots are all fundamentals to practice.  A more in depth story on shooting techniques and settings can be found here

Michelin Road Atlanta in Braselton,GA played on host March 6 – 8 for round two of Ferrari Challenge North America. Over a 100 drivers strapped into the brand-new Ferrari 488 Evo Challenge cars for the first time this weekend.

20 dedicated track-only Ferrari XX Programme cars based on flagship products like the Enzo and La Ferrari will also take on Road Atlanta. The difference is these cars are unmuffled and make 1,000 hp.

Five historic F1 Cliente machines, previously driven by Formula 1 greats such as Massa, Alonso, Barrichello and Schumacher also took to the track.

Some things to consider when packing equipment for an event should be time of day, shot list, wide vs closeup photography.  Knowing the layout of the event is important too.
