Giving Recognition to Local Volunteers Making a Difference in the Community

The 11Alive Community Service Awards began in 1975 as a way to annually honor persons who had contributed significantly to their communities. The black tie dinner and awards telecast airs on WXIA and WATL-TV and honors 11Who Care. Each year, the program also salutes a charity and makes it the beneficiary of the evening’s proceeds.

Headliner US House of Representatives John Lewis gave a heartfelt speech on serving your local community.
